Jim Suggate - Director
Starting with a small truck at the age of 16 Jim founded Immix by buying vehicle batteries to sell on the same day for a profit. Fast forward to today, Immix trades metals throughout the world.
Jim is grateful for the relationships he has gained in a challenging yet rewarding industry that provides great rewards for those who are prepared to work hard.
Jim has grown Immix to a team of forty employees in addition to working with multiple contractors. Placing Immix in a position to do business better at every level.
Ivan Orsolic
Trading Manager
Ivan has been in the metal industry for over 45 years. There is no end of sight for this industry warrior, especially whilst scrap metal continues to flow through his veins.
Starting from humble beginnings starting on the shop floor he quickly elevated to senior management roles in some of Australia’s top 100 companies.
Lakme has a Bachelor’s in Commerce (Major in Accounting, Finance and Superannuation planning) from Deakin University.
She has ten years of experience in Human Resources, Technology and Accounting. After becoming a Certified Public Accountant, she then held a role as a Senior Financial Accountant.

Joydeep has a Postgraduate in Operations Management in Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
He started his professional life with Tata Steel and spent close to seven years managing the operations & supply chains of various units of metal recycling. Joydeep has a vision of increasing Immix’s footprint throughout the world.

Scott manages Immix's regional client accounts.
With fourteen years of account management experience, he is passionate about building
long-lasting relationships with clients.
Scott Norton
Regional Trading Manager
Scott has a Certificate IV in Competitive Systems and Practices in Manufacturing and has recently completed a Dale Carnegie Course.
His role focuses on building relationships with customers in the Western regional areas.
Scott Humphries
Account Manager
20 years ago, Ric started his career sorting and processing Ferrous and Non-Ferrous metals then moved on to plant and machinery operations for family and large multi-national metal recycling companies.
He has extensive knowledge of scrap metal along with leadership experience and management in operations and account management.

Tim Karpeles
Branch Manager - Wodonga
Tim has over two decades of experience in the logistics industry, a wealth of knowledge and expertise in managing operations on a national scale.
Tim started his career in the Defence Force, where he honed his leadership and management skills. After retiring from the military in 1998, he went on to work for Greenfreight Tpt as the National Operations Manager where he oversaw a team responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods across Australia.
Brent is born and bred in Wagga Wagga and has always had a passion for business.
Brent’s career started working for 10 years as a workshop foreman for a transport company managing and maintaining a fleet of seventy-plus trucks and one hundred and fifty trailers. Looking for a new challenge, Brent joined Immix in 2022.

Export Manager - Ferrous
Robert is a self-driven, motivated person with over fourteen years of experience in the scrap metal industry.
Rob’s exposure to the shipping industry, attention to detail, and background in accounting provide him with a comprehensive understanding of the daily and ongoing requirements of Immix's export needs and requirements.
Leanne Gatt
Export Manager - Non Ferrous
Leanne has worked in the export field over the last 30 years across. During this time, she has gained global knowledge of Customs and Country requirements with demonstrated skills working with renewables and the environment.
Leanne manages export functions ensuring the timely processing of shipping documents, coordinating with shipping lines and transport to meet deadlines and keeping stakeholders informed on schedules.
