Starting with a small truck at the age of 16 Jim founded Immix by buying vehicle batteries to sell on the same day for a profit. Fast forward to today, Immix trades metals throughout the world.
Jim's journey in the metal industry highlights his entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and dedication to building strong relationships. These qualities will continue to enhance our competitiveness and drive us to keep winning against the best competition out there. Jim will continue to strive for excellence for his clients to ensure mutual success!
Jim has grown Immix to a team of 60 employees in addition to working with multiple contractors. Placing Immix in a position to do business better at every level.

Ivan has been in the metal industry for over 45 years. There is no end of sight for this industry warrior, especially whilst scrap metal continues to flow through his veins.
Starting from humble beginnings starting on the shop floor he quickly elevated to senior management roles in some of Australia’s top 100 companies.
Lakme has a Bachelor’s in Commerce (Major in Accounting, Finance and Superannuation planning) from Deakin University.
She has ten years of experience in Human Resources, Technology and Accounting. After becoming a Certified Public Accountant, she then held a role as a Senior Financial Accountant.

Leanne has worked in the export field over the last 30 years across. During this time, she has gained global knowledge of Customs and Country requirements with demonstrated skills working with renewables and the environment.
Leanne manages export functions ensuring the timely processing of shipping documents, coordinating with shipping lines and transport to meet deadlines and keeping stakeholders informed on schedules.
20 years ago, Ric started his career sorting and processing Ferrous and Non-Ferrous metals then moved on to plant and machinery operations for family and large multi-national metal recycling companies.
He has extensive knowledge of scrap metal along with leadership experience and management in operations and account management.
